Bilbo Baggins wasn't the only hobbit in Thorin's company. His best friend Violet Greenhill who has lived with him for more than ten years, accompanies him to help reclaim a homeland with a group of dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield. They'll face goblins, Wargs, deadly Orcs, and wicked trolls to survive there part of the journey. Can they succeed or will they fail? 1st book
- Violet Greenhill: The second hobbit on the adventure Bilbo shares with her and his best friend and the book's protagonist. She is the daughter of Tom Greenhill, and Mara Cauliflower, both who are famous hobbits. While she maintains a friendship with Bilbo, there are a few hints that they are in love with each other, but both appear to deny it.
- Bilbo Baggins: Violet's best friend and potential love interest. He has lived in Bag End with Violet since they were children. Initially reluctant, he decides to accompany Thorin and Company due to Violet's wish to leave the Shire. He loses them in the Misty Mountains, only to find Sauron's one Ring and keeps it secret, waiting for the right time to tell Violet his secret.
